As a part of achieving its objective, ISOT conducts conferences covering the various topics pertaining to transplantation. Every year between March to May, Midterm ISOT conference will be held. This 2026 it is being held at Bengaluru.
The conference is slated to be held on 2nd and 3rd of May 2026 at Clarks Exotica Resorts, near to Bengaluru airport, Bengaluru. The theme for this year Midterm ISOT is “Infections and Transplantation”. This is for the reason that infections before and after transplantation are a major hindrance for the outcomes of transplantation.
Though a lot of advancement has happened in this field, the evidence is still scarce, not oriented to the Indian subcontinent and difficult to be implemented in resource limited settings. To address these issues, experts from all over the country will converge in Bengaluru and have lectures, discussions, debates during the 2 days of May 2nd and 3rd 2026.
The experts will involve the persons in the field of transplantation of various organs like Nephrologists, Urologists, Cardiologists, Gastroenterologists, Haematologists, Multiorgan transplant surgeons, Anaesthetists, Pathologists. .
