Abstract Guidelines

Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your abstract / e-poster. Only registered delegates are eligible for scientific presentations.

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL & MINI ORAL PRESENTATION

  • Poster and Paper presentation may include Original Research or Case Report.
  • Kindly specify the category (paper/ poster) while submitting the abstract.
  • The abstracts should be within 500 words limit excluding title and references.
  • Font size should be Times New Roman 12-point, single line spacing and title in bold.
  • For original research the abstract should be structured and organized with following headings: Objectives, Materials and methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • Graphs, tables and images should not be included in the abstract.
  • Mode of Oral paper presentation will be Microsoft PowerPoint with time limit of maximum 08 minutes (06 mins for presentation and 02 mins discussion).
  • The Abstract should be submitted through your ISOT account after self-log in.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed and the presenting author will be informed via email regarding acceptance/ rejection of their abstract.
Note :- Only registered delegates will be allowed to participate in Scientific Presentations.

GUIDELINES FOR E-POSTER PRESENTATION

  • Only the registered delegates are entitled to present their posters following their acceptance by the committee.
  • Time limit: 03 mins (presentation) + 01 min (discussion).
  • The author should be available for the presentation of the E-poster.
  • All posters should be designed in landscape style and all information i.e. text, data, photos, and figures should appear within one slide/image as a PPT or JPEG image.
  • If the candidate wishes to explain the poster in detail, a maximum of 5 slides shall be allowed strictly adhering to the timeline.
  • The title and subheadings should be written in bold.
  • Select background colours that contrast well with the font to allow easy text reading.
  • Photographs or figures being used in the poster should be of minimum 300 dpi resolution.
  • Orientation- Please create your document in PowerPoint in landscape layout 16X9 & save it as pdf or pptx.
  • Font type- Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman, Helvetica. Font Size- > 11.
